The member firms of Central Valley Monument Companies have been helping families of the central San Joaquin Valley remember their loved ones since our beginning in 1934.
Our artists have actively sought to develop the skills and knowledge they need to create the customized, personalized memorials they have come to be known for. Their memorial artwork can be seen in literally every valley cemetery.
And . . . not just in cemeteries. Their work has often taken on the form of many public, historic monuments and memorials. Large memorials such as Fresno County's Peace Officer's Memorial, the tribute memorials for both the Columbia and the Challenger shuttle craft crew members, and the granite sign work of Fresno's prestigious Huntington Boulevard grandly display their artistry. Memorials are an important way of honoring and remembering the lives of our loved ones. Central Valley Monument Companies are dedicated to helping local families understand what is involved in creating a proper memorial by explaining the different concepts, traditions, techniques, materials and design possibilities.
Memorials of all shapes, sizes and colors are available, and any can be created to reflect the personality of the individual, place or event it commemorates. With cremation becoming a more common practice, "non-traditional" memorials can help commemorate a person whose ashes have been scattered. Granite benches, birdbaths, and even engraved river rocks have been used as fitting tributes.
Memorials for pets are also available . . . allowing for remembering all of our loved ones.
When you need to remember a loved one, we hope you remember us . . .
